SCHIFF HARDIN LEADS LAW FIRM RANKINGS FOR WOMEN LAWYERS TO WORK
Schiff Hardin LLP is proud to announce that the firm ranked #1 in the nation for diversity for women, #2 in the nation for diversity for minorities, and #5 overall on Vault's 2015 Best Law Firms for Diversity list.
Ronald S. Safer, Schiff Hardin's Managing Partner, said, "These rankings reflect that people of all colors, genders, sexual preferences, and challenges feel comfortable and valued at Schiff Hardin. That, above all else, should be celebrated."
Schiff Hardin partner and executive committee member Patricia Brown Holmes, who chairs the firm's Diversity Committee, emphasized, "Diversity is at the heart of who we are as a firm. Diversity matters because everything we do to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace makes us a better firm, a better business partner with our clients, and a better influence on our communities."
Additionally, Schiff Hardin earned high ranks on Vault's 2015 Best Law Firms to Work For list, including #6 for summer associate programs that best prepare for practice and #7 on the list of best overall law firm summer associate programs.
"Schiff Hardin continues to adapt our recruiting and mentoring programs to ensure that associates and summer associates have excellent professional and personal experiences at our firm," said Lisa A. These rankings are based on the annual Vault Law Firm Associate Survey, which is administered annually to 17,000 first- through third-year associates who participated in their current firm's summer program. Associates are asked to rate their own firm on a scale of 1-10 in a variety of categories addressing job satisfaction, quality of life and quality of work. Excluding the "Overall" category, 25 law firms are ranked nationally in each list.
