JOHN WORDEN ELECTED TO THE AMERICAN BOARD OF TRIAL ADVOCATES (ABOTA)
Schiff Hardin LLP is proud to announce that John S. Worden, a trial lawyer in the firm's San Francisco office, has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) San Francisco Chapter.

ABOTA is an invitation-only organization. Elected members are some of the nation's most experienced and respected trial lawyers. All members must have a minimum of 10 civil jury trials as lead counsel before they are considered. ABOTA members (including judges) are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. First and foremost, ABOTA works to uphold the jury system by educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury.

Although licensed to practice in Nevada and California, Mr. Worden has tried/arbitrated approximately 40 cases throughout the United States for both plaintiffs and defendants. His trial experience spans numerous areas, including commercial, securities/finance/FINRA, insurance, personal injury/wrongful death (plaintiff and defense), construction/real estate and employment.

Mr. Worden has practiced in Schiff Hardin's San Francisco office (and its predecessor, Morgenstein & Jubelirer) since 1989. Eliot S. Jubelirer, also a partner in Schiff Hardin's San Francisco office, was elected to ABOTA's San Francisco Chapter in 2012.
