Spratt has represented virtually all sectors of the healthcare industry in governance, compliance and transactional matters. He has represented large companies and private equity sponsors in multi-jurisdictional transactions, including acquisitions, sales, mergers, and reorganizations of healthcare businesses, traversing complex state and federal healthcare laws and regulations. "There are few lawyers in the United States with Bill's healthcare regulatory and transactional background," said Kirk Davis, chair of Akerman's Healthcare Practice Group. "Bill's experience in health administration, coupled with his transactional acumen, will be of great value to our private equity and institutional healthcare clients and further expand our national reach in this rapidly growing area."

"It is great to be practicing at Akerman with so many old and new friends," Spratt said. "With so many terrific health lawyers and an impressive group of M&A lawyers in one of the country's leading law firms, Akerman is a great fit for my practice and my clients. "
