DK&S ATTORNEYS NAMED NOTABLE PRACTITIONERS BY CHAMBERS USA
Four partners in Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles' New Orleans office, Keith J. Bergeron, Terrence L. Brennan, Robert E. Kerrigan, Jr. and Ellis B. Murov, have been named "Notable Practitioners" in the 2013 edition of Chambers USA 2013. Chambers USA ranks the leading firms and lawyers in an extensive range of practice areas throughout America.
Robert E. Kerrigan, Jr., is head of the Civil Litigation Section. A significant portion of his practice is in product defect, toxic exposure, general aviation, securities, commercial, toxic waste and environmental litigation, and professional liability defense litigation.
Terrence L. Brennan is head of the firm's Construction Section. His practice is devoted primarily to the areas of construction and construction surety law, and he is actively engaged in representing owners, architects, engineers, surveyors, contractors, suppliers and building construction sureties. He has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution methods and procedures
Ellis Murov is a partner in the firm and serves as co-department head of the Labor and Employment Law Section. He advises and litigates in federal and state courts in the areas of business, intellectual property, labor and employment and alternative dispute resolution. He also has an administrative law practice before the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.
Keith J. Bergeron is a partner in the firm. Mr. Bergeron joined Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles after working as a mechanical engineer for Chevron Pipeline Company, concentrating on design, procurement and project management issues on various Gulf of Mexico onshore and offshore oil and gas projects (and attending law school concurrently with his engineering practice). His practice involves all aspects of construction and construction surety law, but particularly design professional malpractice issues.
