The Cleveland Division of the FBI recently presented Thompson Hine partner Stephen D. Williger with the Director’s Community Leadership Award.

The award, presented on behalf of the director of the FBI, was established in 1990 as a way to honor individuals and organizations for their efforts in combating crime, terrorism, drugs and violence in America.

Williger was chosen to receive the award in recognition of his dedication to the FBI Citizens’ Academy Foundation of Cleveland since its inception in 2004, his recent selection to the board of directors of the FBI National Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association, and his offering legal knowledge and skills to the cause of community safety.

Williger, who practices in the Business Litigation practice group at Thompson Hine, focuses on complex fraud and securities cases and complex entertainment law disputes.
