Ellis Mirsky, General Counsel and Executive Director of THE NETWORK OF TRIAL LAW FIRMS, INC., met today with Steve Henry, Executive Director of LITIGATION COUNSEL OF AMERICA, to discuss possible collaboration on projects of mutual interest.
Litigation Counsel of America ("LCA") is a trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. And, membership is by invitation only. The composition of the LCA is aggressively diverse, a goal shared by the Network, with recognition of excellence among American litigation and trial counsel across all segments of the bar.
The two organizations share a number of mutual goals, including implementing affirmative steps to include minorities and women and to recognize achievements of trial and litigation counsel.
A number of attorneys in some of the Network's 25 member law firms are individual members of LCA.
