Congratulations to Dan Stephenson of the Network's Michigan firm, Dykema, for setting two new swimming records in the United States Masters and winning six events in the 50-54 age group in the 2007 Long Course National Championships.

Dan won the 50-, 100-, 200-, 400- and 800-meter freestyles and the 100-meter backstroke. His times in the 200-meter (2:00.34) and 400-meter (4:16.61) are new records. While at UCLA, Dan posted Olympic-level times in swimming and missed his chance for gold because President Jimmy Carter pulled America out of the 1980 Olympics. Dan was formerly coached by one of the nation's top swim coaches, Denny Hill, who once said, "I thought I knew what conditioning was, until I met Dan Stephenson."
